Nokia 5110 TFT Connect your Arduino to the ubiquitous Nokia 5110 TFT - see video #89 at I guess everyone has a 5110 TFT display in their components box so now's your chance to actually connect it up! You DON'T have one? Nokia 5110 Graphics Display comes with 84 x 48 Resolution and with a Back Light. This is a basic graphic LCD screen. This LCD Screen originally came with Nokia 5110 Mobile phone and now available with an easy to use PCB and connection terminals. To an I/O device using a serial interface (SSI, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.) • To another processor (TM4C, Raspberry PI, Arduino, etc.); parallel or serial. Projects other. I'm almost there. The labs are separated into ICND1 and ICND2 (books 1 & 2 of the CCNA series). Plus, I can't break this stuff or knock anybody offline, no matter how hard I try. Wendell odom ccent. Are you crazy? At this price why haven't you got one (or two)? They might only be black and white but they are so easy to use and can display so much info, including graphics (that I'll have to cover separately in another video) although I do have a go at creating a custom graphic character. The only 'downside' is that they are a 3.3-volt device so some simple voltage level shifting is required but that is so easy Benny (my cat) could solder it all together in 5 minutes. (He says 4 minutes, but who's counting?) In fact there are TWO easy ways to level shift the 5 volts from your Arduino down to 3.3 volts and I cover them both. Of course, if you use an Arduino that is already 3.3 volts then no voltage level shifting is required (eg Sparkfun Pro Micro, Arduino Due, Arduino Pro [3.3v]) and you can connect your Arduino directly to the TFT. Nokia 5110 Serial Connection ManualInterfacing Nokia 5110 LCD Display To Arduino In this article, we are publishing a project tutorial which explains different aspects of interfacing a Graphical LCD (GLCD ) Nokia 5110 with Arduino. Nokia 5110 is a 48 x 84 graphic LCD that has an internal controller PCD8544 to control all displays and operations. The Nokia 5110 is interfaced to the microcontroller through a serial bus interface. After going through the project you can display the graphics or text you wish to be displayed. So let’s begin our tutorial and learn how to interface a graphical LCD like Nokia 5110 to Arduino. Before proceeding, please go through our tutorial on interfacing. So let’s come to our project – Nokia 5110 Arduino Interfacing!
